DPS Type Injection Pump |
With all the same attributes and benefits as the DPA type, the DPS operates at a higher injection pressure of 750 bar and is thus more suited to high-speed direct injection engines as used in light commercial vans. The DPS offers increased fuel economy and smoother running for these lighter engines.

DPC Pumps |

DPCN Pumps |
Developed from the conventional DPC, the DPCN features a Diesel Control Unit which controls fast idle, exhaust gas recirculation, pre/post heating and a coded anti-start device linked to the vehicle dashboard. The DPCN has the same benefits as the DPC with the addition of improved fuel efficiency on start-up and added security.

EPIC Type Injection Pump |
At the leading edge of diesel technology, the EPIC pump employs 'fly by wire' technology to reduce engine noise and vibration and further improve fuel economy and emissions.
The EPIC Injection System is fully electronically controlled by the Diesel Control Unit (DCU). Operating on numerical data delivered by the DCU in the form of hundreds of pulses per second, the pump translates the pulses into hydraulic messages. Four actions (electromagnetic coils) convert this electrical data into hydraulic commands, sensors inside the pump then confirm to the DCU that the command has been executed.
Apart from the drive shaft, there is no mechanical linkage to the pump. The EPIC pumps are fitted to both direct and indirect injection engines.

In response to the new 'Tier 2' off-highway emissions legislation a new range of rotary pumps featuring much closer control of injection timing has been developed.
The first application was on Lister-Petter engines used on 1500rpm Generator set applications and more recent applications include JCB, Perkins and Deutz.
